Meet Willett Staff Series

Hello Willett Families! My name is Melissa Martin, and I am in my 19th year of teaching. The past 14 years have been at Willett, and I couldn’t love our school more. My husband and I are blessed to have two wonderful daughters, Jillian and Grace. We also have many chickens that we keep as pets. I am so lucky to be able to work with Mrs. Raposa on our Student Council and I’m also a part of our School Council. When I’m not at school, I love to go to the beach, attend concerts, read, go for walks, and travel with my family.

Hi, my name is Julie Friess and I've been working in the Library at Willett since 2007. I started as a parent volunteer when my own children were attending Willett and liked it so much, I wanted to stay. I live in Attleboro with my husband, 3 children and 3 dogs. Both my children and dogs keep me busy every day. My kids are active in softball and baseball and I'm usually at their games cheering them on. My dogs' names are Chloe, Geno and Lexi. Lexi is the smallest and newest of the pack and rules the roost at home. She is also my little sidekick.

Hi Willett Families! My name is Genna Hartman and I teach kindergarten. This is my third year at Willett and I am so proud to be part of our school community! I have a black cat named Ink and a brown tabby kitten named Kalino.  Last month I completed my third half-marathon and am training to run my first full marathon in Providence in May. When I am not teaching or running, you can find me tutoring, rock climbing, biking, or playing with my two kittens.
