Now that we have turned the calendar to October and students have started to take assessments, we wanted to share some grading news since our last update at the start of the school year. Please click here to learn more: Family Grading Reference and FAQ

Picture Retake Day

On Wednesday, October 29, Lifetouch will be back at the High School for picture retakes.  As in years past, picture retakes are available for 1) students who were absent on Picture Day (September 17), 2) new students to the district since September 17, or 3) any student whose family purchased a photo package and wishes to have their photo taken again. Students in the last category must bring their photo package with them (or if you purchased a digital package, they must have proof of purchase).

If you purchased a package and wish to have your student’s photo taken again, please register them on this form. Students who were absent will automatically be registered. Anyone not registered or who does not have a purchased package will not be allowed to have their photo taken. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Gina Spencer at 508-222-5150, Ext. 20019 or gspencer@attleboroschools.com.

Get Protection for the Upcoming Flu Season  - Flu Shots at AFC Urgent Care

Why Get a Flu Shot?

Flu shots are a great way to protect yourself against flu strains that are likely to be prevalent this year. They only take a few seconds to administer, and they can keep you and your family from missing school or work due to illness – not to mention, they protect against some of the more dangerous side effects of the flu.

Who is a Good Candidate for a Flu Shot?

Just about anyone who wants to avoid the flu is a good candidate to receive a flu shot. We’ll go over the details when you stop in. A few examples of people that love taking advantage of our flu vaccines include:

  • Those with elderly relatives who may be especially susceptible to the flu.

  • People who know it will be difficult to miss work or school because of the flu.

  • Anyone who hates getting sick!

Stop in Any Time

We know you’re busy, and penciling in time for a flu shot isn’t always easy. AFC is stocked up with flu vaccines and is ready to serve your family whenever you’re ready. Either call your local clinic to make an appointment, or just stop in whenever it’s convenient. Just like our urgent care services, you can walk in any time to get your flu shots. We are open 7 days a week 8a-8p for walk ins, make an appointment online by clicking here or scanning the QR code , or calling us at 774-254-9500.
