2nd grade class
Student teacher Elizabeth Lyons
in Ms. Mallette's 2nd grade class has introduced a geometry unit with an integrated art/math project with art teacher Mrs. Korneffel. Students were introduced to modern art prints from the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection. They then started their own creations applying their understanding of squares and fractions. On Friday, April 4th the class went to Wheaton College to view the art exhibit.
